The Budget Work Sheet can be used in preparing a budget for the new year. This report can show the income and expense account balances for the past two years, along with last year's budget. It will also provide columns for entering the new year's budget.

If you select the budget worksheet, you can select the specific range of accounts that you want printed. For example, if you are a municipality and you want a worksheet on the Water Fund Expenditures, you can select that range of accounts. You can run the worksheet as many times as necessary to print all funds.

You can use Enter Budget Amounts to enter the new budget amounts once they have been determined. Also, ACS offers a Budget Maintenance program that works directly with the ACS General Ledger system. The Budget Maintenance program contains features that will automatically update the budget information in your general ledger.
