Workmans Compensation Report

Help Home | System Home | Core | Errors |

The system allows for the calculation and accumulation of wages which are subject to workman's compensation insurance. Each employee's departmental records can contain workman's compensation codes. These codes, as such, are not important to the operation of the system, but are used in summarizing the workman's compensation wages for the Workman's Compensation Report. If you wish to utilize these features of the system, you should build this information into your employee files. Review Employee for details as to how to build your employee files.

This report will show the total wages and workman's compensation wages by employee and will be summarized by the Workman's Compensation Code. This report will normally be run on a monthly basis, but can be run for any time period. This report shows the total wages paid and also the portion of the wages that are under the workman's compensation limit.

If your company does pay workman's compensation insurance, this report can be of great benefit to you. Normally if you rely on the workman's compensation auditor to determine your liability, you will end up paying excessive amounts for the insurance. The auditor does not have time to properly allocate wages between codes, and since he is not thoroughly familiar with your company, he may even incorrectly classify many of your employees. This report can furnish the information needed for an accurate accounting of wages subject to workman's compensation insurance.

The report can be printed for any time period.
