Print the chart of accounts together with the reference numbers that connect each account to financial statement designs. Use this report when checking where accounts appear on statements or tracing an omitted account.
Using this option
- Select the company whose accounts you want to review, then run this option under Print. This program proceeds to the normal print output without a separate selection screen.
- Read the Account and Description columns, then compare the Primary and Secondary groups of reference numbers. Each group includes Balance Sheet, Income, and Change in Financial Position references.
- Compare a questionable reference with the account and the corresponding Financial Statement Design. Make corrections in those maintenance options, then print the list again.
Notes
Printing this report does not change account balances or financial statement reference numbers. A missing reference is not necessarily an error; it depends on the statement on which the account should appear.
