The Dump Old Payee Transactions on the End of Year Processing Menu will be used to remove excessive transactions in the vendor transaction file. It does not have to be run right at year end. Be sure that the 1099 forms have been printed before you dump these old transactions. This program will ask the Oldest Transaction Date To Retain so it can be run at any time. If you forget to dump these transactions, it will not hurt anything but the transaction file will contain information that is no longer needed.
