Import GL Chart of Accounts

If you have the ACS General Ledger System, you can pull the chart of accounts into the Check Book System without having to rekey the information. Once the Checkbook system has been established, any new accounts entered into the General Ledger System will automatically be entered into the Checkbook chart of accounts. You would normally only use this option when you first install the Checkbook System, but you could run this option at any time without any problems.

You can actually import a chart of accounts from any general ledger company. Normally you would be using the same company number for both General Ledger and Checkbook.
